T Reyes, MS
Hi, I’m T Reyes (they/them)
I'm a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School, working under the supervision of Dr. Becky Miller (she/they). I’m a proud Caribbean American from Puerto Rico, and I identify as non-binary and pansexual. These parts of my identity deeply inform how I show up in the therapy space, with openness, cultural humility, and a strong commitment to creating affirming, inclusive care.
Life doesn’t always go as planned. Whether it’s anxiety that keeps you up at night, sadness that feels hard to shake, or relationships that leave you feeling stuck or unseen, you don’t have to navigate it all alone. I know how overwhelming it can be to feel like you’re constantly “holding it together,” especially in a world that often misunderstands or marginalizes who you are.
Therapy with me is a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you can be your full self, even the parts you’re still figuring out. My approach is integrative and flexible, drawing from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Person-Centered Therapy. I also bring in existential themes when it feels right, helping clients explore meaning, identity, and purpose.
I specialize in working with people experiencing anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, phobias, and relationship or identity-related stress. I especially enjoy supporting folks in the LGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or out of sync with themselves or the world around them.
My goal is to help you build a more grounded, authentic connection with yourself, and to find sustainable tools that make life feel more manageable and meaningful.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with compassion, curiosity, and care, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
